Ideal for city, touring or bmx bikes with narrow sprockets. Compatible with derailleur systems (5, 6 & 7 speed) as well as internal hub gear systems (5, 6, 7, 12 or 14 speed). Intrax chains are more durable than conventional chains due to bushings in their inner links that ensure a greater carrying capacity on the link surface (wider 1?2 x 1?8" chains do not run optimally on narrower sprockets).
