- The DT swiss 54-tooth racing ratchet kit changes the degree of engagement of a DT rear hub from 20 degrees with 18 teeth to just 6.5 degrees, which results in an incredibly fast engagement
- machined out ratchets are 10 grams lighter per set compared to the standard 18 tooth ratchets
